I know Keith mentioned this on his blog a couple of months ago.

I just found this on youtube and it's a fascinating documentary of a Boeing 747 being stripped down and rebuilt.

From the point of view of a fearful flyer, it's quite reassuring. There's massive attention to detail on every tiny little part of the plane, and they answer questions on lightning strikes, how planes fly and other stuff that I know I've wondered about.

Even from the point of view of a non-fearful flyer, it's really interesting.

The link's here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_yHtfGH0nI&feature=g-vrec

so if you're outside UK or missed it, give it a watch.

Also, in the nature of these things, I'm sure it'll eventually be blocked on copyright grounds, so if the link doesn't work... well... someone may have downloaded it and be able to email it to anyone who wants it.

Looks really interesting! Thanks

Thanks so much for this. I have just watched the whole video! Brilliant and again something else to help with the fear!

No worries.

I'm still trying to find The Plane Crash from the other week (Keith was interviewed about it) but can't find anything except short clips.

Helping Each Other

We're here to help all fearful flyers by giving you support, help, encouragement and guidance.

So tell us your story, ask us how we can help.

And maybe you'll tell everyone you know about this forum because even if they haven't told you, someone you know is also anxious about flying.

Fear of flying? This is the internet's biggest free forum. The only on-line fear of flying course is at premium.flyingwithoutfear.com
