Hi I'm sure for those of you who were on the course with me on the 21st March. I'm the lady who is due to fly out to Berlin this coming Friday. Now feeling really anixous. I'm trying to push it to the back of my mind, but somehow these thoughts come back to me. It's the fear of the take off that I'm getting so worked up about. Any suggestions anyone on what I can do to clam my self down before friday.

Hi Vanessa,Briefly-
a)find the video of take off on the video page on this site and keep watching it to familiarise yourself with how normal it is - repeat to your self - I can do this or" this is the exciting bit "
b) Think of ALL that Keith told you on the course
c) Do deep breathing - breathe out your fear -can certainly vouch for this
d) start reading a book and get to an exciting /challenging bit before you travel to the airport so once on board, after listening to the safety briefing you can absorb yourself in your book/crossword book etc
e) Imagine Keith is the Captain of your plane-
