Hi Guys
Home safe and sound. Had a great holiday. A few wobbles in the morning of the flight and on the return. Just the nerves kicking in, but had to keep so strong and positive. But just kept going and took one step at a time and didn't let my imagination run wild or 'what if's take over.
Very happy and couldn't of done it without the last few years of support and knowledge here from all. It takes time to get to where I am now with regards to flying. Also I have an amazing boyfriend who has been great too.
Keith - I watched one of your videos a few weeks ago regarding turbulance and how easy the plane is to fly during this time. We hit turbulance on the way out and I was as cool as a cucumber because of this knowledge. So great work with the vids.
Just to say to all the other fearful fliers out there that if I can do it, so can you! Just keep at it, don't be too hard on yourself, keep positive, keep busy on the flight, remind yourself of the stats (that didn't used to help me but it does now) and use some relaxation techniques - just simple breathing.
