Here's a funny, but true story... back in August, I was getting ready (and dreading) flying back to New Jersey from Los Angeles with my wife and kids. I had this fear that had been growing over a number of years and found myself not making plans or making excuses not to go places my wife wanted to go because of my deep fear of flying.
Finally, I decided I'd had enough and went onto iTunes to see if there was any help. That led me to Keith, which led me here. After listening to his amazing CDs, I flew back to Jersey without that all-too-familiar dread. In fact, I told my wife that I was willing to go wherever she wanted to go from now on.
A question Keith had on the CD really hit home with me. "What could your life be like if you weren't afraid of flying?" I'm paraphrasing, but suddenly realized there was a world out there which I would never experience if I let FEAR rule my life. So, i told her I was letting go of the fear.
And THAT DAY... I rec'd an invitation to go on an all expenses paid business trip to a 5 star resort in Bora Bora... So, here I am, leaving in two days and in truth, I haven't really thought about the flight that much. Usually, I worry about it... but this time, I'm thinking about the trip and all the amazing things I'm going to be doing/experiencing...
I can't thank Keith enough for his life-changing CDs and recommend them HIGHLY to anyone.
Must confess I have just had to do an internet search for the location of Bora Bora- it looks like paradise so hope you have a fabulous time there.
When I have more leisure time and not working I want to do water colour painting. I have the basic equipment and have various teach your self books on how to do it. However, until I actually start putting paint to paper and decide to do it for myself and practise I won't develop. What has this to do with the fear of flying?- Well as Keith says a person can buy CDs, books, attend F of F courses but until they actually decide to get on a 'plane and decide to fly confronting their fear head on and work on their fear they will never be on the road to curing or managing it. If a person does decide to "feel the fear but do it anyway" there are so many beautiful places to visit around the world. However, thanks to Keith's information my attitude to flying has changed so positively.
So happy flying and enjoy Bora Bora.
8 flights in 6 days to 4 islands -- Tahiti, Bora Bora, Nuva Hiva and Hiva Oa. I'll post pics soon. But suffice it to say that before discovering this website and Keith's CDs, I probably would have said no to this free trip out of fear.
