Thought I would give an update of what I have done since attending Keith's ground course at the end of November. Since then I flown six times. Each time has made me stronger. Exposure really is the answer. I am now ready to fly on my own. Some things that have helped:
*re reading Keith's books before flying to help ease my fears.
*diaphragmatic breathing. It really works if you do it properly
*focussing on the hear and now during the flight and doing the 5 things I can see/hear/feel excercise
*during turbulence watch a glass of liquid. Despite what you feel the liquid does not move that much!
*and above all stay positive and banish negative thoughts by replacing them with positive ones. This is the most difficult thing to do but with perseverance it works :)
I will be flying for work soon.
Happy flying everyone!
