Hey... you're  making me nostalgic ... this was almost my daily view of the world!

Such a fantastic experience crossing the channel.  and for an englishman flying from the middle east or Singapore Mumbai  we were home again when we heard an english accent on the radio. But I guess that applies to anyone from any country.

I know that other pilots used to feel the same when they heard their native accents after a long flight home.   What a life! The best job in the world, on top of the world and around the world.

I thought I didn't miss it!
