Hi and welcome to the LOGBOOK24/7 social network for fearful flyers. I normally try to welcome new members as they arrive but recently I’ve been away on holiday and since arriving home have been involved in hospital taxi duties for the family.
So a very warm welcome, I hope you’ll enjoy the network and find it useful to you in overcoming your anxieties about flying. We don’t have rules with regard to posting stories, experiences and emotions about flying. We’re all here to help each other. Despite my 50 years in flying I can only support and give you the facts the real help comes from people like you, sharing your feelings with people like you.
Talking about flying and sharing strategies is invaluable in overcoming your fear. Please feel free to ask me as many questions as you need, and if you don’t understand the answer or I’ve misunderstood you, keep on and on at me until I’ve answered your question. I’m here to help.
May I suggest, and I know this as a result of helping people to overcome their fears, that you get on with it as soon as you can. Don’t wait to do a course or get a book...there’s no better time than now even though you probably feel that you’re not quite ready now. The quicker you fix the problem the longer you’ll spend being free worrying thoughts rather than adding to them.
Remember, I’m here to help
There’s a page that deals with the particular worries that you may have mentioned on the sign up page. When you’ve read that go to the START HERE page of the site to begin your journey to overcome your fear of flying.
