Anyhow, I am pleased that all went well. The Alps are lovely from above, are they not? I always look out in awe (and great fear!) when we are flying above them on my way to Greece. Talking of which, I am going back there in just under a month. Like you I am still terrified but life is so short and there's so much to see, that young ladies like us cannot really afford NOT to fly. So hey, an unpleasant moment, but the thrill of getting there, and the beauty of the Alps, ought to make everything good.
