Hi Harry this toxicity thing crops up every so often but I can't say that I've known anyone who has been affected by it. It's a statisical thing ...how many people ...how often...how much.

I should think it's because the rain turns to steam by the time it gets to the combustion chambers and there's so much fuel at such a high temperature that it has no effect. I've never heard of the flame being washed out.

Thanks for your answer, as always it really helps. Did you find out how, when it rains all those gallons of water that get sucked with air into aircraft engines, does not put the fire out ?
