Hi Rachael! Well, if we live over here we've got to keep flying, I suppose, so we've got to get some strategies for coping. I read through your profile, hope that's ok, and I'm so sorry that you have such "hilarious" colleagues. I hope they never take a panic attack themselves. Do see the doctor (although perhaps Capt Keith wouldn't approve), but do just what the doc says. A drug with muscle relaxant will help block messages of panic to your brain so that you can unlearn the panic. An iPod is a tremendous help too, but mix it up so that you don't associate certain songs with take-off! Breathe, breathe, breathe whatever (but I'd lead with the drugs). All the very best!
