Hey everyone! I just need a bit if help from the community. On Friday morning, I will be flying with some group members for a weekend retreat to LA. We're flying Southwest, and it's only a 40 min flight. However, I'm still nervous, unfortunately. My group members and I are within our teens, so it would be slightly embarrassing to talk to the pilot, chaperones, or people like I sometimes do on other flights. Can you guys, including you, Capt. Keith, give me any pointers or tips? I know SW is a good airline, I just heard some stuff about problems with 737s. I'm flying a 737-700. If you can offer any reassurance, that would also be great! Thank you all! I will keep updated on the day of.

Hi Jakob

Be honest ... tell the people you're with that some of you are anxious. Would you be upset/offended/ amused by someone confiding in you that they were nervous of something.

737 's are fine, I'd be happy to fly on one with SW.
