Dear Captain Keith
I've just discovered I'm flying along with my family on a turboprop and wondered whether you feel just as safe as a passenger flying on ATR 72 as a 747-400... (i've got these two flights coming up shortly). Many of the safety features you mention in your book seem to refer to features present on board larger jet aircraft. I had a frightening experience on a turboprop once and have felt nervous of htese ever since, a problem with the rudder and we had to go back to Guernsey even though we were almost at Bristol (because their Aurigny engineers were based in Guernsey)...
Thanks

Helping Each Other

We're here to help all fearful flyers by giving you support, help, encouragement and guidance.

So tell us your story, ask us how we can help.

And maybe you'll tell everyone you know about this forum because even if they haven't told you, someone you know is also anxious about flying.

Fear of flying? This is the internet's biggest free forum. The only on-line fear of flying course is at premium.flyingwithoutfear.com
