We're here to help all fearful flyers by giving you support, help, encouragement and guidance.
So tell us your story, ask us how we can help.
And maybe you'll tell everyone you know about this forum because even if they haven't told you, someone you know is also anxious about flying.

Yes I am a G&T girl myself so know exactly how you feel.
I actually spoke to Keith the night before I left and he really helped me. I was markedly less anxious before take-off, although I admit that I still have a few glasses of champagne at the airport to get me on my way... all in all, it was very positive - Keith definitely helped me with our chat! Ask him about the elastic band trick.
Clare I actually have my own travel business, which adds to my ridicule of being a nervy flyer... so don't feel bad at all!
You and I joined on the same day from the same continent... I'm in Sydney... I'm at Sydney Airport now waiting to board my flight to Athens and hope that you'll be travelling soon yourself!
Captain Keith suggested we might contact each other for some moral support!!
Kind regards
Robyn
I wonder if you've done anything about your fear...a course or read anything? With regard to take off watch the videos we've got on this site and get used to hearing and seeing what's going on. Watch them 'til you're bored witless with them. The reason that you feel as if you're getting worse is no doubt to do with the children. You will see on many other posts from people like you I say that the risks in life seem to be greater now because you have the responsibility of their welfare. Where once upon a time life had risks but you dealt with them, now you see more risks because you have to deal with them on behalf of your children.
In fact nothing has changed...only your perceptions of risk. But flying is safe as you know and accept when you're cruising along.
If you copy your message to me and post it on the forum or discussion board other people may have some ideas for you to use.

Thanks for joining us here. I hope that we'll be able to help you to overcome your fear. Let's start by answering of your questions.
I was in Sydney last year giving a talk to thwe qantas fear of flying graduates, then we drove down to Melbourne and along the famous coastline...whose name escapes me right now! Great coastal drive is it?
