Look out of the window as we take off in a Jumbo 747. Remember the captions so that when you fly you can tell yourself what's going on and that it's all perfectly normal and safe.

Am I right in thinking that when it stays "look at the wing tips" in this video, I am supposed to see them move up and out of a sort of sagging position? If so, that's REALLY "cool"...! Very useful video!

That's true

That video defintely helped me when I first decided to log on to the previous forum. Especially because it gives you indications on horse power and the runway. Then it just sounded like the captain had to lift wheels up to take off. It sounded like the plane was actually lifted almost "naturally" I mean in a very gentle way, and at the same time could be stopped.

Helping Each Other

We're here to help all fearful flyers by giving you support, help, encouragement and guidance.

So tell us your story, ask us how we can help.

And maybe you'll tell everyone you know about this forum because even if they haven't told you, someone you know is also anxious about flying.

Fear of flying? This is the internet's biggest free forum. The only on-line fear of flying course is at premium.flyingwithoutfear.com
