Hi I have started listening to live ATC streams (especially Shannon and Geneva) live streams and it has really helped me to understand more and more what goes on during a flight.  I don't understand all the technicalities of what they are saying but I get the general understanding that even before take off, the ATC teams and pilots are communicating together.  It is so interesting.  My family think I am very sad but listening to this is amazing and exciting.  Have also looked at live flight tracking and have tracked flights across Europe.  This is amazing and exciting to watch as well.  Both are highly recommend.

Go to this site www.liveatc.net/topfeeds.php.  You should get to the page where you can choose where to listen.  For flight radar, go to www.flightradar24.com.  It's amazing and very interesting.

Yes they did as you know that everything is in control when listening to the live streams.  I still have a fear though and need to control it.
