This is me on Aer Lingus a couple of years ago. I was very lucky to be in Business and found the extra space so much nicer. However I still have to take Diazepam to calm my nerves.

This is such a pity as our postal system here is awful and I doubt that i'd receive them by the time i'm due to fly. Would be great i'm sure, to have a downloadable version for those living on other continents. :-(
only available from the shop I'm afraid

Hello Keith, thank you for your prompt response. Is the CD and Audio Courses downloadable? I would like to purchase either one. Many thanks.

It sounds as if you do need some re-assurance! Well done for coming here and explaining your fears.
Turbulence is the thing most people hate, simply because it is so uncomfortable on occasions and we link that with danger. Flying in turbulence isn't dangerous ... keep your seat belt tightly fastened.
This community is for people to chat about and share their fears so I hope other members add their encouragement to mine.
If you find my voice calming then you might enjoy the videos we have on the new on line course. There are 60 clips from 30 seconds to 15 minutes duration where I explain about flying ... especially things relevant to fearful flyers. I understand about the window seat and seeing where you're going but even that isn't as straightforward as you'd think. The movements on a plane can be disorientating even when you can see out.
The main thing is that flying is safe ... but sometimes it feels horrible. Have a look here and see what you think about the new on line course.
If you have more questions and feelings post them here.
Best wishes
Keith

Morning Keith, i recently googled my 'fear of flying' and came across your site. Loved your into video - your voice is very calming. I have flown quite a lot locally (South Africa) with 1 'international' to Mauritius of 4.5 hours. My fear is getting worse every time i fly. I'm due to take the longest multi-city flight end of this month and am SO fearful - 11hrs. My last flight was 3 days ago, 1.5hrs, with 1-2 minutes of mild turbulence but enough to have me in tears. I HATE turbulence and the movement of shadows in the plane makes me feel as though i'm suspended and swaying in 'nothingness' (?) i have to take a window seat to 'see where i'm going'. I need URGENT help....
brilliant

Hi Keith. I still have not had any email reply from you so perhaps communication this way might be better. After listening to the CDs and reading the books etc I have been feeling a bit more positive about my flight in October. However as we are going Easyjet I am not expecting much in the way of space but have booked the Emergency Exit as that will be a bit more and we get speedy boarding. My biggest problem with flying, I think, is being up so high and this is really what freaks me out more than anything. Can you please help me with this and how I should go about dealing with is. Any advice is very welcome. Many thanks. Jan
