Hi all,
I'm really going crazy now... Next week I will have super long transatlantic flight and now we have MH17, GE222 and today's AH5017. I can't have any logic explanations in my head why all this happened. I'm trying to keep myself positive about it, but still... Something/somebody had caused these crashes to happen ! Well I hope it will get better in my head with time.
Dear Keith, could you please just comment something on those cases. Maybe it will help lots of us to feel…

Hi all,
It was long time since last time I've posted here. Just wanted to share with you how I'm doing with my fears. As you can see in the title things are going well. Now it happens that I need to fly quite often and my relations with planes had changed completely. I can tell you that I do not feel any fear and do not experience any sleepless nights just before flight, my trip to airport is always nice and fun. I'm always trying to get as early as possible to airport - just to watch…

Hi all,
I had flight on Sunday to LCG and at that time there was storm with gusts up to 130 km/h. So turbulence in the place was quite high. I would fall from my chair if not seatbelts. Anyway I didn't had any panic because of this, but it was extremely unpleasant.
Now I need to fly back home from LCG on Friday and forecasts are more or less the same. I feel really stressed. I hope on takeoff it will be better as plane should reach high altitude faster, but still it's a big…

Hello my friends,
Just wanted to share with you my last experience from flights CPH->RIX and after 3 days RIX->CPH. Well what can I say... I feel that I'm getting better and better. No more worries week before flight, even no worries day before, I could even sleep before flight without any problem. Then small anxiety arrive to me when I was driving to airport, waiting for flight and take-off/climbing. After that everything was gone. I've felt super confident, no worries. I was…

Please don’t hesitate to ask me anything you need to know about. I will always give you honest answers, and I hope that I will be able to explain the complexities of flying in a way that is accurate, helpful and interesting to you. Please post your stories, videos and pictures to encourage others to share your successes and to encourage them when they need support. We’ve got a lot of help and information on our website (flyingwithoutfear.com) and our shop has all the help you’re ever likely to need (Book, CD, DVD, Guide, Audio Courses). May I encourage you to face your fear as soon as possible? I know that you will think that the longer you leave addressing your fear the better it will be for you. In fact the opposite is true. When you look around the site and on this forum I can promise you that you will not uncover something that will make you more nervous than you are right now. This site is written in a way to help you to overcome your fear. We don’t do the hearty slap on the back stuff, and we don’t do the ‘Look how easy it is to fly a plane’ angle. We’re here to help you by explaining the truth as simply and helpfully as we can. Best wishes...and it would help everyone if you could add your location to the map (but only if you want to...it's your choice...it's your community ) Captain Keith
