This is my first blog! My name is Lynne and in a couple of months time I will be flying from Manchester to Barbados. Most people would be over the moon but already I am starting to have sleepless nights. Its not that I havnt flown before (and I have been to Barbados twice before) but because of a couple of bad experiences I am getting myself into a state that this will happen again. The experiences were mainly due to severe turbulance but also a really bad approach and landing at Manchester. The plane was shaking as it decended and people were clinging on to each other - when it eventually landed people were crying.I havnt flown from Manchest since! I have also just seen a picture in a newspaper of a Thomas Cook plane taking off with a fuel leak which is adding to my list of fears. Everytime I have flown I have come onto this and many other websites to look into the fear of flying. I must say they have helped a bit but I still endure panick attacks and think the plane is going to crash. I really do wish I could overcome this fear!

Helping Each Other

We're here to help all fearful flyers by giving you support, help, encouragement and guidance.

So tell us your story, ask us how we can help.

And maybe you'll tell everyone you know about this forum because even if they haven't told you, someone you know is also anxious about flying.

Fear of flying? This is the internet's biggest free forum. The only on-line fear of flying course is at premium.flyingwithoutfear.com
