My last flight (one of many I've done since taking the course) was a bit scarier and bumpier, and I must admit I almost lost it. The turbulence, the weather, and all the recent horrible news.
Still, the most frightening part was not the flight, but the panic that I could feel growing in me...it just didn't make sense and I felt so afraid I'd come back to the days when only seting foot on the bridge to the plane would give me tachicardia.
Still, that did not happen. I am well armed with the tools from this forum and with the steady work I've been doing. I'm already looking forward my next trip.
Anyway, I just wanted to share with all who might face this backlash. We might not be able to be 100% in control all the time, but it is important to remember that we have the tools to keep forward.
That's a great point that you can't be 100% in control all the time. Managing the fear is the right approach. Well done Claudia.
