So, in July my friend really wants me to go birdwatching with him in Barcelona, and I also really want to go. I speak fluent Spanish so it would be brilliant practice, and I've been to Spain three times before and absolutely loved it. But It has taken a lot for me to be able to fly there, and I get very nervous.

The year before last after reading Captain Keith's book, I plucked up the courage to go to Madrid on a school trip without my parents, and the flight out was the best I've had, I listened to music and chatted with my friends and everything.

But once I get there, the fear and anticipation of the flight back always makes me spend a lot more time thinking, and being anxious when I really should be enjoying myself.

Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks, Jess :-)
