Hi all,

I'll have flight in 2 days. CPH to VNO and back after 4 more days. Short trip, but I'm worried. Last time I flew to CPH and had a seat in CRJ9 without window and you know what ? My fear was half less than usual. So maybe in my case it's height who is the biggest cause of fear. Anyway, I'm worried now, but I feel like this worry is far more lower than usual. I believe that's good sign. I'll let you know how I felt when I come back. The only good thing about trip is that return flight will be with Airbus 320. I've never flew Airbus, so I'm quite eager to try it :) Hope everything will be ok.

Finally I'm back. I was super scared. More than usual and don't know why. Maybe it's because of 1 hour sleep before flight. I don't know. Also hydraulic pump was very loud and that made me more nervous. Well I just guess that it was hydraulic pump. Anyway plane was quite new and really nice. I've enjoyed my first flight with Airbus :) Now it's my favorite planes. Can't wait to fly with A350 :)

You still flew! That's amazing. To fly when you are not in a good mental state is very brave and I think you can view it positively in that you have great mental strength that you can use to your advantage when tackling the fear. Be prepared to invest time in this. The Flying without Fear CDs are brilliant and Keith's courses are superb. Use these resources! I did and I was very much like you in that I still flew but had a terrible time but now the experience is so much better. You'll be the same. If you want to read how happy I was after returning home from a flight, have a look at my post here: Amazing California Holiday

Trust the facts, not the feelings.

Have a great flight back.

Yes indeed I had a flight. It was very bad as usual :( I had a panic attack during take off. When we were at cruise altitude everything went fine. No stress. Landing was bad. Airlane was moving too much and as usual I thought that plane has too low speed to handle the situation. Finally all went fine. I'll fly on Monday back to CPH. No stress for now :) I feel quite comfortable. Let's see how it goes.

You'll have flown by now Darius - how did it go? I've flown on most flavours of Airbus and they're great aircraft. Enjoy Vilnius!
