Hello all,

I wasn't here for a while. I was super busy. Now I come to say thanks to all of you and especially captain Keith. I didn't overcome my fears yet, but I feel so confident that I chose to fly for a job interview to a foreign country and if I'll take that new job then flying will be much more frequent for me. You know what ? I'm not afraid ! I'm happy to be able to take that opportunity and do not refuse my career because of fear of the flying !

You did a very good job, captain. Again, I still need to put lots of energy into fully overcoming my fears, but I see correct direction. Also I understood one important thing which applies to my case - it is not possible to overcome your fear of flying if you fly 1 time per year. You need to fly frequently in order to overcome this. But that's maybe just me.

I totally agree. Return flights for me have been at least 50% more comfortable psychologically just because I flew safely on the outbound leg. But, when I didn't fly for 1-2 years and then went to Barcelona, I was back to trying to handle very high anxiety and discomfort and a conviction that my flight was bound to end badly. Your post has made me aware that I'm leaving it rather a long time to fly yet again - thanks, and good luck!
