Hi all,

So I am heading into three days of travel tonight, including three flights. Definitely less anxious after reading several posts and knowing that there are other people out there. Still can't fly without medication but the days leading up aren't nearly as angst ridden as usual.

During my flight I just have to repeat over and over to myself that I claustrophobia is a fear, fears are normal and I have to relinquish control. On my flight here I told the flight attendant my fears and they were so great. It just felt better telling someone and knowing that they knew. They were extremely helpful and checked on me periodically during the 11 hour flight. It felt like I had lifted a burden off of my shoulders. I also continued to remind myself that flying is normal, there are thousands of flights in the air at one time and millions fly every day. Every little bit helps!!!

Hope my flights back will be okay and I'll post when I arrive safely in Lesotho!
