Captain Keith, I had to fly again!! I hated the take off but survived on drugs again and all went well. The landing at home was on a terribly windy day with the plane wings moving all over the place and the plane coming down sort of sideways. I know from mum flying all the time that if too windy she gets diverted to Sydney so I assume they know what they are doing. I was glad to be on the ground and on that flight a lot of people were happy to have landed. The positive thing is that I survived a pretty shitty landing and whilst it seemed to take so darn long to get down (maybe this had something to do with the wind and can the wind catch the wing of the plane and flip it over?) we made it and all is well :)))) I feel like I could fly again now with less stress. I think the key is to keep flying now more often than once every year or two years. Thank you again, I kept you in mind and was thinking when it was crap, 'what would cpt keith say now'. Plus I guess Australian airlines have strict procedures for safety so they would have turned around if the wind was stronger than their safety protocol lets them land in.... :D

Oh and I realised that some take off feel shitty because of the turbulence on the way up, I don't like turbulence on take off.  But I realised I was also scared because I had some take offs that were turbulent and realised that when the take off is smooth I don't mind it nearly as much.  Plus, the take off on the way there that was rough was in a smaller plane and I sat up the back.  The flight attendant told me that its rougher up the back.  I think Ill be sitting in the middle from now on :D
