Hi everyone!

I'm just here to get an extra dose of confidence before my flight from KWI-London, then London-Vancouver on Friday the 20th. I am nervous about flying over water, and especially with turbulence over the water! I'm flying in a 744.

I am trying to focus on the safety logistics and the amazing time I will have once I land, but it's tricky with the typical sensations I always feel: apprehension, dread, and worry!

A few notes of encouragement would be great!

Follow the things that people say here. Most importantly remember that this is  step  in your journey to overcome your fear.

Don't set your standards too high ... set yourself achievable standards to give yourself something to build on. There's no reason other than being human to think that your next flight is join to be any worse  than your previous ones.

Have fun
