So next week is the big family holiday that we have all been looking forward to for months. I'm being conscious this time to address my fear and plan for the flight before I get there to help alleviate the symptoms and ultimately get on the flight. It still feels like very early days to me....
I would really appreciate any tips, ideas or thoughts on how to get through the first part of the flight, including anything people do to help them before they board the plane and during take off. I am using the CDs, books and audio to help me and practising the breathing techniques but last time I was so anxious I lost the concentration to do them. Anything that can help me not reach that level of anxiety would really help! I'm flying this time with my two children, and really don't want them to see me upset as it effects them and the last thing I want is to pass my fear on too much!
