Wow, I'm so happy to have found this resource! I have been a nervous
flier for 15 years after an especially rough flight and "unscheduled"
landing (which I now know was all probably very safe). I struggle from
intense anticipatory anxiety and am struggling now as I leave for Costa
Rica (8 hour flight) in two days!
I'm practicing my breathing and positive thinking. I did some EMDR
therapy but don't know yet if that will help. Watching these videos of
take offs and assents seem helpful as do all of your stories which are
so very familiar to me :) I'm trying to focus on the joy of being in
Costa Rica and not on the flight. Tears seem to help me so I'm letting
them come as well
Anyway, thank you all for sharing your stories, it's nice to know I'm
